An Oklahoma Starbucks issued an apology on Thanksgiving after one of their baristas wrote "Pig" on the label to identify a coffee for a police officer.

Kiefer Police Chief Johnny O'Mara posted a photo of the insult on Facebook. One of his officers bought the beverages as a kind gesture to the officers who were on duty during the Thanksgiving holiday.

“What irks me is the absolute and total disrespect for a police officer who, instead of being home with family and enjoying a meal and a football game, is patrolling his little town,” O'Mara wrote in a viral Facebook post.

Fox 25 reported that the barista has been suspended "pending the outcome of our investigation."

The police chief stated that he called the coffee chain about it they offered to "replace the coffee with a correct label." Given their track record of other anti-police incidents, he didn't buy it.

“The proverb ‘Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me’ came to mind," O'Mara wrote.

Relabel the cups? And it was a joke? They're right, not funny at all.

What makes this even worse is the long track record of Starbucks of their disrespect for our police officers. Who could forget the time where they made a police officer leave after customers complained they "did not feel safe."
