It's pretty established that Speaker Paul Ryan is not a big fan of President Trump. Back in October 2016, Ryan let the Republicans know he was through defending Trump. “I am not going to defend Donald Trump. Not now, not in the future.” Tell us how you really feel, Paul.

During President Trump's time in office, this has definitely proven to be true. Speaker Paul Ryan has not had Donald Trump's back at all. Every chance he get, he hangs Trump out to dry.

Since then Speaker Ryan has not let up. During his month long vacation Ryan still found time to attack President Trump....three times!

Remember, the House of Representatives took the entire month of August off. Here's their work schedule.

Must be nice, right?

While vacationing Paul Ryan took some shots at President Trump earlier this month.

Well he's not done. He took another shot at Trump this weekend. Speaker Paul Ryan ripped President Trump for his pardon of 85-year-old Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Per The Wall Street Journal:

House Speaker Paul Ryan on Saturday criticized President Donald Trump for pardoning a former Arizona sheriff, Joe Arpaio, becoming the highest-ranking Republican to object to the move.

“The speaker does not agree with the decision,” said Ryan spokesman Doug Andres. “Law-enforcement officials have a special responsibility to respect the rights of everyone in the United States. We should not allow anyone to believe that responsibility is diminished by this pardon.”

The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment about Mr. Ryan’s statement.

On Friday, the White House announced that the president had pardoned Mr. Arpaio, known as an immigration hard-liner who had been sheriff of Maricopa County for 24 years before he lost a re-election bid last year.

It's good to know that Speaker Ryan's vacation time is being used to trash President Trump. He is clearly more committed to ripping President Trump than doing his job. These two need to be working together not trash talking one another.
