According to multiple news reports that came on Tuesday evening, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders will soon be getting protection from the Secret Service.

CNN cited "two sources familiar with the decision. According to the report, the protection could start as soon as Wednesday.

NBC News came out with a similar report. Correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted:

NEW: The Secret Service will begin providing security at the home of Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, on a temporary basis, a law enforcement official tells @PeteWilliamsNBC

This comes on the heels of an incident in Lexington, VA where Sarah Sanders and several members of her family were refused serviced at a restaurant. Why? Because she works for President Trump. In response, Democrats have been very vocal about how there is no longer a need to be civil when engaging with President Trump along with members of his administration.

Loads of criticism was launched from both sides after the incident in Virginia. Sanders started, “we are allowed to disagree, but we should be able to do so freely and without fear of harm.  And this goes for all people regardless of politics.  Some have chosen to push hate and vandalism against the restaurant that I was asked to leave from.  A Hollywood actor publicly encouraged people to kidnap my children.”

Things are getting very tense between the Democrat and Republican parties. It became even more tense when Maxine Waters encouraged more incidents similar to this from progressives.
