After over 18 million people tuned into Roseanne on Tuesday night, it should come as no surprise that ABC has already announced a season season for the pro-Trump sitcom.

It's been officially announced by ABC on Friday that the show will be back for its 11th season.

"We're thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes. The show is as fresh and relevant today as it was when it left the air 21 years ago. We can't wait to see what the 'Roseanne' team has in store for next year," ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey announced in a statement.

This news is early but expected. It was the best Tuesday premiere since 2006 for ABC. When you factor in DVR and video-on-demand it pushes the number of viewers for the premiere up to 21.9 million.

President Trump is on the bandwagon. He reportedly called Roseanne Bar to congratulate on her success and even bragged at an Ohio rally about the show's success.

"Look at Roseanne, look at her ratings," Trump said. "They were unbelievable. Over 18 million people! And it was about us! ... The fake news hasn’t figured it out yet, and when they do, they’ll become much less fake. It may take a while, but it’s happening.”

How does ABC feel about the attention they are getting from President Trump? Reportedly an ABC source told CNN that the more the attention, the better.
