Rep. Collins Reveals GOP’s Most Important Witness in Next Round of Impeachment Hearings

With the first round of impeachment hearings over, it’s time for round two to begin.

The first two weeks of hearings were held by the House Intelligence Committee. Now the House Judiciary Committee gets their turn to examine witnesses. Hopefully, this will be a big moment for the Republicans to shine and speak with some important witnesses.

Ranking member Rep. Doug Collins told Fox News Sunday that he has one key in mind, Adam Schiff.

Collins gave his reasoning why on Fox News Sunday,

“Oh, of course. We’re going to testify. The first and foremost, the first person that needs to testify is Adam Schiff. Adam Schiff is the author of this report. Adam Schiff has been the author of many things, a lot of them found to be false over the past couple of years. But he’s going to be the author of this report.”

Collins continued, “He’s compared himself in the past to a special counsel. This is what he said he was doing. Well, if we go back to Clinton and even back to Nixon, but in Clinton, Ken Starr was the special counsel, he presented a report that we’re going to get his judiciary. He actually came and sat and testified under oath and took questions from all sides, including the White House. My first and foremost witness is Adam Schiff.”

It is crucially important to call Adam Schiff as a witness in order to expose this circus for what it is. There is too much information being held by one man.

What’s will be disappointing is if Jerry Nadler refuses to allow Schiff to be a witness because ultimately Nadler has the final say in who can testify and who can’t because he is chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Given that this entire thing is a scam, it wouldn’t surprise me if he tries to act like Schiff and decline him as a witness.
