Rand has been very adamant that Obamacare cannot just be repealed. It needs to be repealed and replaced. While he did not reveal any details, he says that there will be details revealed Sunday on CNN. Details will continue to be rolle out throughout the week.
Repealing and replacing Obamacare has been a major objective for Republicans and the incoming administration. President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence are leading the charge. Republicans now control both Congress and the White House so there should be no issue finally going through with repealing and replacing Obamacare.
On Thursday the Senate voted to repeal Obamacare. Rand Paul was the only Republican to vote against it, because he believes the replacement plan should be in place before it was repealed. Now he is working very hard to get the replacement together. While he has not released it yet, it appears it is in place and ready to be released to the public. It will be interesting to see the details of this plan.
