In a move that surprised very few, some protesters outside of the Republican National Convention decided it was a good idea to burn the American flag.
This did not sit well with some of the people in the crowd, as well as the law enforcement officers.
Right when the protesters were set to burn the flag, a group of bikers were ready to put out the blaze with fire extinguishers. Just after that, the bikers were joined by Cleveland fire fighters.

Ultimately, the flag burned. Police used pepper spray to break up the crowd that had gathered around the flaming flag.
Finally, the fire was put out and arrests were made.

You may be wondering, why they were arrested, since flag burning is despicable, but not illegal. Lighting anything on fire in the middle of a crowd is illegal, though.

Another despicable act in our great nation.
Let's take a look at how this was handled though. Like and share on Facebook if you agree that these firemen, police officers and bikers banded together to step up big time!
