Robert Mueller released a series of indictments against Russian hackers. In response President Trump rips Obama on Twitter for failing to take on the Russian hackers.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein issued a dozen indictments against Russian hackers on Friday. This was a part of an investigation into cyber warfare against a DNC server in 2016.

The 12 people indicted are collectively known as "Guccifer 2.0." Is it unclear whether they will be brought to justice in the United States or not.

Per Daily Wire:

His statement follows a White House missive from Friday blaming Obama for not doing enough to combat Russia as a geopolitical foe.

"As Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said today: 'There is no allegation in this indictment that Americans knew that they were corresponding with Russians. There is no allegation in this indictment that any American citizen committed a crime. There is no allegation that the conspiracy changed the vote count or affected any election result,'" Deputy White House Press Secretary Lindsay Walters said in a statement Friday, CBS News reports.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has, so far, issued several indictments, but as the White House points out, few (and none against Americans) in connection with actual Russian election meddling. So far, Mueller has indicted several Trump officials, but for crimes that predate the 2016 presidential election.

Trump has a point. Russian hackers did not just appear leading up to the 2016 election. The media refuses to throw any shade in Obama's direction, despite him being in office when all of the Russian hackers "witch hunt" was coming about.
