In major news President Trump fires Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. he has been replaced by the Department of Homeland Security John Kelly.
How this went down was very awkward. Priebus flew with President Trump to Long Island on Air Force One for President Trump's tweet. When they arrived at Joint Base Andrews, Priebus left the plan and drove away before President Trump exited the plane. That was probably an extremely long drive back to Washington DC.
Priebus got off the plane and into a car, which exited the motorcade and left the air force base—all while Trump stayed on Air Force One.

John Kelly, the Secretary of Homeland Security, has been named the new chief of staff. President Trump announced this on Twitter:

More on the story per Daily Caller:
Kelly, who has little political experience, will be taking on a job historically suited for Washington insiders.
Trump also tweeted his appreciation for his outgoing chief of staff. “I would like to thank Reince Priebus for his service and dedication to his country. We accomplished a lot together and I am proud of him!”
President Trump brought on Anthony Scaramucci as his communications director last week, and since then, Scaramucci has been publicly feuding with Priebus. Scaramucci told The New Yorker in an interview published Thursday that Priebus is a “paranoid schizophrenic.”
Several Priebus allies — former press secretary Sean Spicer, former assistant press secretary Michael Short, and former deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh — have been pushed out or resigned from the Trump White House.
President Trump has shaken up his staff in a big way this week. Stay tuned for more details as they continue to be released.
