House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once again made a fool of herself Tuesday night at the conclusion of the State of the Union address when she ripped the copy of the President's speech given to her at the beginning of the address.
There has even been debate on whether or not Pelosi had planned on doing this the entire time or if was something that she had done in a moment of anger at the end of the speech. We'll now we know.
After a close examination of her behavior during the address, something new was discovered.
You can clearly see Pelosi secretly putting small tears in the papers during the speech to make it easier for her to rip them up later.
According to Fox News,
One of the most talked-about moments of the night on Tuesday was at the end of Trump's address, when Pelosi was seen ripping pages of the president's speech in half. When Fox News asked her afterward why she did it, she responded: "Because it was the courteous thing to do considering the alternatives," adding: "I tore it up. I was trying to find one page with truth on it. I couldn't."
There has since been a debate about whether or not Pelosi had planned to rip the speech before she did it, or if it was an act of impulse. Video from the address, however, suggests it was premeditated.
As Trump was about to segue to his introduction of conservative talk radio legend Rush Limbaugh, Pelosi is seen taking a copy of the president's speech and briefly placing it below the counter. The Trump campaign alleges that she made "small tears to the paper."

The White House quickly responded to Pelosi's act of tearing up the speech.
"Speaker Pelosi just ripped up: One of our last surviving Tuskegee Airmen. The survival of a child born at 21 weeks. The mourning families of Rocky Jones and Kayla Mueller. A service member's reunion with his family. That's her legacy," the White House tweeted, referencing individuals whom Trump mentioned during his address.
