There is plenty of blame to go around after the Senate Republicans failed to reach an agreement on repealing and replacing Obamacare. Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell are unquestionably two men who should take some of the blame.
How much blame should these two men take exactly? Do you think Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell should be relieved of their duties? President Trump Hispanic Outreach Director Steve Cortes does. On Tuesday morning, Cortes was on Varney and Co. to talk about the Senate Republicans not being able to come to an agreement for the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.
Cortes did not pull any punches. He told Stuart Varney that Speaker Ryan and Mitch McConnell should be gone after this disaster.
Stuart Varney: Here’s my question, is Mitch McConnell and Speaker Ryan, leaders of the Republicans in the senate and the House, are they gone?
Steve Cortes: You know Stuart, I think they well should be. This is FOX Business, right? If this were a business on Capitol Hill, the two of them would already have been fired.
