House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has lost her battle with Facebook and Twitter. She demanded that they remove a video that has gone viral on because she says it is a "fake video".

Both companies have told Pelosi that they will not censor a video that her office requested to be removed from the internet.

Pelosi was attempting to have a video removed from all social media platforms because it shows her ripping up the President’s SOTU speech as the President honors each guest.

The video is edited and shows Pelosi ripping up the speech every time the President introduced one of his guests. We all know that she didn't rip up the speech multiple times, it only happened at the conclusion of the address.

Pelosi’s office were wanting the video removed because they claim that the video is deceitful.

“The American people know that the President has no qualms about lying to them – but it is a shame to see Twitter and Facebook, sources of news for millions, do the same,” Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s chief of staff, said on Twitter. “The latest fake video of Speaker Pelosi is deliberately designed to mislead and lie to the American people, and every day that these platforms refuse to take it down is another reminder that they care more about their shareholders’ interests than the public’s interests.”

All this amounts to is that Pelosi is embarrassed because of what she did during the State of the Union speech. Now she's trying to keep everyone from remembering what a fool she is.

Pelosi’s calls for the video to be removed would be a complete violation of the First Amendment. In reality, who knows how long it may be before Facebook and Twitter start giving into calls like this from the Democratic party.

Tim Murtaugh, a Trump campaign spokesman, said: “If Nancy Pelosi fears images of her ripping up the speech, perhaps she shouldn’t have ripped up the speech.” Even the Trump campaign said this video was an obvious parody.

Take a look at the video that she has been complaining about calling it a fake video. It's a real video, it's just that it was edited to show Pelosi ripping up the speech multiple times for dramatic effect. It's OBVIOUS that it features the same clip.

It's not that it's a "fake video" it's edited to prove a point and I guess it's clear to everyone but Nancy Pelosi. But she's an idiot so what do you expect?
