Off duty cop in the suburbs of St. Louis shot and killed an invader Saturday evening. The family of the shooter said the two had recently had an argument about the recent police violence.

The off-duty officer has not been named. He was home when the invader rang the doorbell. The officer's wife, mother in law and 2 children were there when the invader showed up. The guests ran upstairs to hide. The suspect threw a concrete planter through a window near the rear entrance of the home. Once inside the home, the police officer shot and killed him.
