A shooting at a Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas claimed 26 lives. The deadliest mass shooting in Texas history. It should come as no surprise that Obama wastes no time politicizing the shooting. He immediately took to Twitter to call for fewer guns.

"We grieve with all the families in Sutherland Springs harmed by this act of hatred, and we’ll stand with the survivors as they recover. May God also grant all of us the wisdom to ask what concrete steps we can take to reduce the violence and weaponry in our midst."

When Obama tweeted this there was very little known about the shooter. With the information available now it seems very likely that the gun was obtained illegally. The reason is 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley was once convicted of domestic violence.

Per Daily Caller:

Obama, who has taken an unusually active role during his successor’s administration, offered no specific details on what those steps to reduce the guns “in our midst” would look like.

Sunday’s shooting, carried out by 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley, was the worst mass shooting in Texas history. A local gun owner is reported to have opened fire on Kelley with a rifle, preventing him from taking any more lives.

It's very often a theme of the left. They always ask for more gun control, but never have a specific plan.
