He is at it again. Obama erases part of American history. The Department of Veteran Affairs has banned the use of the Confederate flag in cemeteries.

Obama Erases Part of American History

The controversial symbol has been pulled from all VA cemeteries. The charge was led by Congressman Jared Huffman. A man who has very strong views on what this flag means.

Huffman was quoted as saying:

“While racist individuals and groups continue to embrace the Confederate battle flag, it has never been more clear that this anachronistic symbol of hatred, slavery, and insurrection should not be promoted or gratuitously displayed on federal property.”

There is a great deal of Southern pride that is associated with this flag, while others associate it with racism and want it down. Perhaps there can be a compromise.
