Despite the fact that Colin Kaepernick hasn't played since 2016, (and was mediocre when he last played) "woke" NFL fans are still hopeful he could come back.
Known Twitter troll Dr. Barry McCockiner took advantage of the suckers out there and tweeted about the New York Jets signing Kaepernick to a one year $9 million deal.

First off, the news was broken by someone named Dr. McCockiner should have been a red flag. Second, when it comes to NFL news, it's either Adam Schefter or Ian Rapoport who is breaking a story like this.
That didn't matter as massive celebration ensued on Twitter.

There are several reasons Kaepernick will not be signed. One, it's just not worth that much of a headache for a backup QB. Two, it's pretty established that if he signed with an NFL team he gives up his "martyr" status he's established with leftists.
