This week Nike outraged millions of Americans with their latest ad campaign, where they made Colin Kaepernick the focal point of it.
It should come as no surprise that President Trump was among those who were angered by the move by Nike. He took to Twitter to express his anger with Nike and compared their actions to those of the NFL.
Just like the NFL, whose ratings have gone WAY DOWN, Nike is getting absolutely killed with anger and boycotts. I wonder if they had any idea that it would be this way? As far as the NFL is concerned, I just find it hard to watch, and always will, until they stand for the FLAG!

It should come as no surprise that never Trumper LeBron James didn't waste an opportunity to publicly clash with President Trump and defend Kaepernick and Nike.
While accepting an award for his style and philanthropy, James addressed the issue. Per TMN:
At the end of his speech, James said that he stood “for anybody who believes in change,” adding, “I stand with Nike, all day, every day.”
This came a day after the Nike campaign was unveiled by Kaepernick. He tweeted, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.”

Kaepernick supports like to pretend that he is being blacklisted from the league. He opted out of his deal and then asked for starter money when he clearly isn't a starter. Eventually when you balance the salary he demands with the lack of talent and headaches he would cause, the best place for Kaepernick is not in the NFL.
If he really wanted to "sacrifice everything" then he would have done this when he was a still productive quarterback in the NFL. Instead he realized his NFL career was on the back nine and wants to prolong his fame.
