What an insane story. Islam is all over the news the past few days. In Florida a Neo-Nazi converts to Islam, then kills his Neo-Nazi buddies for trashing on Islam. As if he didn't make one bad enough choice in life by becoming a Neo-Nazi. He somehow finds a way to compound the issue by turning to an Islamic murderer.
This is a story with all kinds of different angles of extremism. When a guy goes from Neo-Nazi to Islam and kills his two Neo-Nazi buddies for insulting Islam, it gets a little confusing.
Does it surprise anyone that this happened in Florida?
A young man arrested after leading police to the bodies of his two roommates told officers he killed them because they were neo-Nazis who disrespected his recent conversion to Islam.
The Tampa Police Department says 18-year-old Devon Arthurs told police he had until recently shared his roommates’ neo-Nazi beliefs, but that he converted to Islam.
Arthurs told police he was angry about anti-Muslim sentiment.
Arthurs was arrested Friday after police say he held hostages at a Tampa smoke shop. Police talked Arthurs into letting the hostages go. Then led police to the bodies of two roommates in an apartment filled with Nazi and white supremacist propaganda and bomb-making materials.
Needless to say, but this guy is freaking evil. He is burning through the evil ideologies. A Neo-Nazi converts to Islam, then kills his Neo-Nazi buddies sounds like some kind of sick, deranged movie. But this was actual real life.
Whether Neo-Nazis are evil or not, this is still an unjustified killing by someone from the nation of Islam. Regardless of your religious affiliation, this guy is a complete loon. It's like he was just going through life, burning through radical stances until he found the one that fits him. This sick man deserves everything he was coming to him.
