MSNBC host Kasie Hunt said on Monday to viewers that the assault of Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was one of her favorite stories to cover. Keep in mind this assault left Paul with six broken ribs.
“New details today on the incident that left Senator Rand Paul with six broken ribs – this might be one of my favorite stories,” Hunt said.
After a bit of reflection Hunt tried to backpedal awkwardly saying, “Although, of course, we don’t — clearly Senator Paul is struggling. Neighbor Rene Boucher is accused of beating the Senator and GQ reports that lawn-care issues might be at the heart disagreement.”

Where does MSNBC find these people to work for their network? How tasteless was that? Senator Rand Paul being brutally assaulted is one of her "favorite stories." Her words not mine.
