The resort area at Disney World has been closed "out of an abundance of caution." An alligator attacked a 2 year old toddler just outside the Grand Floridian hotel at a lagoon. A frantic search started Tuesday evening and continued into Wednesday morning, but has been unsuccessful.
The boy was wading at the edge of the water when it happened. The father actually went into the water to wrestle his son away, but was unsuccessful. He did suffer some scratches.
There are "no swimming" signs at the lagoon and at the time no one else was swimming.

As if Orlando didn't have enough tragedy to deal with. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
