On Wednesday Monica Lewinsky tweeted that she has been uninvited from an event on social change. The reason? Bill Clinton has confirmed his attendance.
Lewinsky tweeted:
dear world:
please don't invite me to an event (esp one about social change) and --then after i've accepted-- uninvite me because bill clinton then decided to attend/was invited.
it's 2018.
emily post would def not approve.

It's unclear which event Lewinsky was referring to. HuffPo reported the former White House intern was uninvited from Town & Country magazine's philanthropy summit, which happened Wednesday in New York at Heart Tower.
Lewinsky claims that the event organizers instead offered her to write an article for their magazine instead.
p.s. ...and definitely, please don't try to ameliorate the situation by insulting me with an offer of an article in your mag.

Bill Clinton opened up the event by introducing students from the Parkland shooting. They spoke about gun control and activism.

Monica Lewinsky has been in the spotlight ever since her affair with President Bill Clinton in the mid-90s. Since she has often been bullied, she has led campaigns on anti-bullying.
