Former New York City Mayor, Michael Bloomberg has made his way back into the news again recently after declaring that he is officially running as a Democrat in the upcoming 2020 election.
However, things are already looking bad for the billionaire. First of all, the field is already crowded and he's jumping into the race very late in the game.
Secondly, liberals hate billionaires so having a billionaire in the race isn't going to appeal to them very much. If I were going to say one thing though about Bloomberg that the Dems would like about him being a billionaire is the same thing we said about Trump, "He can't be bought."
But Bloomberg is a huge nanny-state advocate. He wants to control everything you do. Remember the soda tax? He's still wanting that in place.
But just when you think you've heard it all from Bloomberg about how great he is, he says something so wild that you'd never see it coming. But it appears that Michael Bloomberg is a saint and we just never knew it!
Bloomberg said in 2014, “I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven I’m not stopping to be interviewed. I am heading straight in. I have earned my place in heaven. It’s not even close.”
First of all, he's an agnostic at best, and an atheist at worst. Notice that he said, "if there is a God..." This shows that he has no idea what Christianity teaches because there isn't some large cosmic scale in heaven where you put all your deeds in life and if the good outweighs the bad then you get to go to heaven.
Bloomberg isn't going to unite the country like Judge Judy believes he will because it's the liberals that are dividing this country right now.
