Much has been made about Donald Trump's plan to build the wall. Well now Mexico wants to build their own wall to keep out illegal immigrants from Central America.

Mexicans want to build a border to keep out Guatemalans, Salvadorans and Hondurans. These people are trying to get away from violence in their own country. They are complaining that loads of these people are bringing violence as they pass through Mexico on their way to the United States.

Mexico Wants to Build Their Own Wall

Instead of getting to the United States, these Central Americans get stuck at the Mexico/United States border. Mexican officials cannot afford to send them back to their home country so meanwhile they are stuck in Mexico. A Mexican newspaper had an article titled, "Yes to the Border Wall, But in Mexico's South."

Last year Donald Trump created hysteria with his border wall proposition. Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto even mocked him for this request. That said, many other Mexicans think the border wall is a great idea, even though the president mocks it.

Crossing a border to another country should not be as easy as driving from Florida to Georgia. Different countries should be treated as that....different countries.
