There is a video making big-time waves on social media. In the video, a Mexican teenager dies after drinking meth in an attempt to trick U.S. authorities into think it was just juice. The 16-year-old Mexican died after drinking it.

Though the footage for this video actually happened in 2013, the footage of Mexican teenager Velasquez Acevedo chugging liquid meth was just released recently.

In the video you can see Acevedo taking several drinks from the bottle while authorities watch and examine another container that appears to have the same liquid in it.

Mexican Teenager Dies After Drinking Meth

According to reports, he suffered a great deal once he arrived in the emergency room. There was reportedly screaming and convulsions.

According to the medical examiner, Velasquez died of “acute methamphetamine intoxication.”

After this happened, the family of Velasquez filed a lawsuit against the United States. They claimed that the two agents seen in the video instructed Velasquez to drink it. The two agents are Valerie Baird and Adrian Perallon. They claim that these two were responsible for the death of Velasquez.

The family received a settlement for $1 million in January of 2017. Despite this, Perallon and Baird continue to have their job for Customs and Border Patrol.

It is still a mystery as to what caused Velasquez to drink from the bottle. Baird made the claim that Perallon told the teen to drink it while Perallon said the teen stepped up and made the offer to chug the meth.
