Once again there is a big letdown for NBC on Sunday night. Megyn Kelly's ratings go even lower, this time beat by a rerun of America's Funniest Home Videos and a new episode of 60 Minutes. According to Variety, her show slipped  to “a new low in both the key demo and total viewers.”

The previous week Kelly had a much anticipated interview with Alex Jones. Until this week that was her lowest rated program. Last night's episode had 3.4 million viewers. To give some perspective, 60 Minutes 7.2 million viewers and the rerun of America's Funniest Home Videos had 3.9 million viewers.

The failure in ratings has caused many pundits to question her marketability and staying power as a star.

According to a report, a network executive told CNN that Megyn Kelly is not the "superstar" NBC was thinking she was. A New York radio host suggested that her ratings have been so poor that they may ask Fox News if they would like to take her back.

A high-ranking Fox News official informed Breitbart that there was "no way" they would take Kelly back. He stressed that if this scenario occurred and Kelly came crawling back, Kelly would “not be welcomed back.”

With the ratings continuing to plummet, it will be interesting to see what steps NBC takes in the immediate future.
