It's all crashing down on the creepy porn lawyer. The LAPD confirms that Michael Avenatti arrested on domestic violence charges.

"We can confirm that today LAPD Detectives arrested Michael Avenatti on suspicion of domestic violence. This is an ongoing investigation and we will provide more details as they become available," the LAPD tweeted.

These charges came about from an incident that went down on Tuesday. It prompted authorities to respond and get a report. The AP was given this information by an unidentified law enforcement official.

A statement was released by Avenatti through his lawyers. Of course, he is denying the allegations. The statement read:

"I wish to thank the hard working men and woman of the LAPD for their professionalism they were only doing their jobs in light of the completely bogus allegations against me. I have never been physically abusive in my life nor was I last night. Any accusations to the contrary are fabricated and meant to do harm to my reputation. I look forward to being fully exonerated."

Bail was set at $50,000 and Avenatti was formally charged with felony domestic violence, according to Office Rosario Herrera withe LAPD. He is being held at the Pacific Jail Facility.

Avenatti rose to fame when he represented adult film star Stormy Daniels, who has said she had an affair with President Trump in 2006, well before he was president. The attorney also claims that he is looking into a 2020 presidential run against Trump.
