Kasich got to give his first victory speech Tuesday after claiming the state he governs, Ohio. It was a decent speech, especially when you compare it to the others that have been composed of screaming and calls for violence. It was a nice change of pace.
From defending Obamacare in 2013 to to when he crushed Republicans for their "war on poor" he has had many moments where calling him moderate would be generous.
At this point it is tempting for many to latch onto him as the only alternative to Cruz and Trump. Some have even called for a cross-party presidential ticket featuring Kasich and Hillary.
Then there was this whole episode with Kasich and his berating of a police officer. Is this a presidential moment for him?
