After Kevin Spacey broke grounds on playing the first gay President of the United States, a new Netflix comedy "First Ladies" will have Jennifer Aniston set to play the first lesbian president.

The Huffington Post reports, "the film follows America’s first female president, the fictional Beverly Nicholson, and her wife, Kasey, as they move into the White House."

The new comedy will boldly proclaim that "behind every great woman...is another great woman."

Per Daily Wire:

Aniston's wife, Kasey, will be played by actress Tig Notaro ("One Mississippi"), who pitched the idea to Netflix along with her partner, Stephanie Allyne. Both wrote the script together. Aniston will produce the project in concert with Notaro, Allynne, Adam McKay, Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Betsy Koch for Gloria Sanchez Productions.

Notaro's latest stand-up comedy special debuts on Netflix May 22.

According to USA Today, no other film has portrayed a lesbian couple in the White House.

Even when Netflix isn't creating quality content, they know how to get people talking. This is nothing compared to when they released the series Dear White People back in February of 2017.

All of that said, will anyone be tuned into this new movie? Jennifer Aniston has had plenty of opportunities so showcase her talents since Friends, but how many of them have been worth watching?
