An Islamic terrorist wearing an ISIS face scarf posted for a chilling selfie outside the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art with a caption: "We are in your home."
The image was uploaded to a pro-ISIS channel on the messaging app Telegram on December 30. It shows people walking behind the man while he stands on a snow 5th avenue.
This photo follows ISIS issuing a video with shots of New York. In the video ISIS calls for more bomb and knife lone wolf style attacks during the holidays.
There was a poster that came out with the chilling call to arms. It shows an ISIS solider with a knife and is accompanied by the words "It's cheaper than a chainsaw."
There was also a photo of a phone that surfaced, featuring an ISIS flag on the screen of the phone with New York's West Street in the background. Days after the image was posted, Sayfullo Saipov drove a truck down the cycle path that runs along West Street, killing eight.
And just last month Akayed Ullah, 27, tried and failed to detonate a suicide bomb at the 42nd Street Subway station. ISIS claimed responsibility for this failed attack. The only injuries in this issue were to the suspect.
While the Trump administration has taken major strides in defeating ISIS, they are still a threat and are still looking to kill Americans.
