Did you guess Alyssa Milano? If so, you'd be correct! The actress is co-hosting 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden's fundraiser next month, according to Variety.

The fundraiser is set to be held on November 14th at the Los Angeles home of Lanette Phillips and Rick Lynch. Variety reports that Lynch is a BLT Communications partner and Phillips produces music videos. Tickets are expected to be sold for anywhere between $500 and $2,800. For the unfortunate souls who donate the larger amount, they will also get a photo with the former vice president.

Phillips hosted a fundraiser for Biden back in 2007 when he also ran for president. She claims that she she has been a longtime supporter of creepy Uncle Joe. I wonder if he sniffs her hair and touches her inappropriately as well.

“I’ve known Biden for many years and I believe in his policies,” she said. “We need to bring our parties together and work together, and he’s proven to be able to do that very successfully.”

The Hill reports:

Milano has been a Biden ally during the 2020 campaign, advising him to reverse his stance on the Hyde Amendment, which bans federal funding for abortions. She has also touted his support for the Equal Right Amendment in a campaign email.

Milano said she was “proud to call Joe Biden a friend,” in a series of tweets earlier this year. She shared her support after two women said Biden touched them inappropriately in the past.

“I am proud to call Joe Biden a friend,” Milano tweeted,  “He has been a leader and a champion on fighting violence against women for many years, and I have been fortunate to accompany him to events with survivors where he has listened to their stories, empathized with them, and comforted them.”

But Milano has also contributed $4,150 to South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, according to federal campaign finance records, Variety reported. She also gave $10,000 to Fair Fight, a campaign founded by former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams to protect voter rights.

Milano has been sticking her nose into politics more as of recently. One of her biggest pushes have been for more gun control. Interestingly enough, she does not have a problem with using guns in her acting. I just recently watched a Lifetime movie in which Milano used a gun to defend herself. Too bad she does not want others to have that right in real life.
