Fox News Releases Statement, Stands Behind Laura Ingraham

Fox News released a statement on the future of Laura Ingraham on Monday. She was facing an intense boycott push from Media Matters and leftist activists. The network made it known that they are standing behind Ingraham and will not back down to the intimidation tactics being implemented by the Left with the goal of ending free speech.

Fox News co-president Jack Abernethy released a statement:

We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts. We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children.

Ingraham hosts “The Ingraham Angle.” On Friday she announced she was taking off a week to celebrate Easter with her three adopted children. A boycott campaign is being driven against her after David Hogg freaked out when she tweeted some mild criticism in his direction.

Hogg, an atheist, tweeted at Ingraham about her Holy Week.
