The early success by Donald Trump has liberals in a frenzy. This is HUGE. The Chairman of Ford called Trump to let him know they aren't going to Mexico.

At the Louisville, KY Ford plant the Lincoln MKC and Ford Escape are built. Friday the company confirmed they were likely to move this plant to Mexico in 2019. This is when the current contract with the United Auto Workers union expires.

When Trump was elected Ford expressed willingness to negotiate staying in the United States. Ford confirmed late Thursday evening that they did reach out to Trump to give him confirmation that they are staying.

“We are encouraged that President-elect Trump and the new Congress will pursue policies that will improve U.S. competitiveness and make it possible to keep production of this vehicle here in the U.S.,” Ford said in an email statement.
