Democrats have a problem with being able to differentiate between Barron Trump, the son of Donald and Melania, and Greta Thunberg.

Thunberg is a far-left climate extremist who travels the world warning everyone that they must act now to drastically change our climate and claims “colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled” our ongoing "climate crisis". On the other hand, Barron Trump is not a political figure and is not seeking any spotlight. He's simply trying to live a normal life. However, Democrats think that attacking Barron is equally as attackable as his father, the President, especially since President Trump criticized Greta.

Melania Trump spoke on the matter to help clarify the difference.

According to The Daily Wire,

First lady Melania Trump responded to Stanford Law School Professor Pamela Karlan, an impeachment witness for House Democrats, after Karlan took a swipe at her 13-year-old son, Barron Trump, on Wednesday during Democrats’ impeachment inquiry on the House Judiciary Committee.

Melania Trump tweeted: “A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.”

On Wednesday, TIME Magazine announced that it was making Thunberg its 2019 Person of the Year.

President Trump responded with a tweet: “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

The left thought that this was a hypocritical move by President Trump when Melania is against bullying and had just claimed Barron Trump was off-limits. So Melania had to help them understand.

"BeBest is the First Lady’s initiative, and she will continue to use it to do all she can to help children," press secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement to CNN.

She also drew a contrast between the couple's 13-year-old son and Thunberg.

"It is no secret that the President and First Lady often communicate differently — as most married couples do. Their son is not an activist who travels the globe giving speeches. He is a 13-year-old who wants and deserves privacy," added Grisham, who serves as a spokeswoman for both the president and first lady.

Thunberg should expect to be criticized as she is publically advocating for climate change awareness, whereas Barron is only in the limelight due to his dad being president. Honestly, the Left should easily be able to see this difference. It seems the Left is just looking for an excuse to attack Trump’s family.
