An Australian, vegan feminist cafe is closing its doors after realizing they can't stay in business with a ridiculous "gender surcharge" or male tax.
The Handsome Her cafe, located in Melbourne, thought it would do society a civil duty and charge men an extra 18% tax, as well as giving women priority seating.
A notice on the cafe’s website says it’s closing for good on April 28.
The cafe attracted numerous negative reviews on Trip Advisor, with one man saying he had to deal with an “aggressive and irate woman” who called him a “vile beast” because he said he was dissatisfied with his meal.

The cafe originally claimed that their stance left them “jam-packed with customers showing their support” upon opening. However, they quickly realized that they could not stay in business.
Their biggest reason in charging men more for the same service and products was based on the nonexistent "gender wage gap."
One of feminisms' finest lies is the gender wage gap. They preach that men make more money than women on the hour for the same jobs. However, this is simply untrue. They gather their data by taking the average of income for working age men and women, which shows that men make more.
However, what they don't take into consideration is that men work harder, more dangerous jobs than women. On the flip side, women are also more likely to work minimum wage or part time jobs.
