In breaking news, a federal contractor arrested for leaking classified information. Leaks are being plugged by the Trump administration. Reality Winner is facing charges for leaking a highly classified NSA document to a media outlet in May.

President Trump has made it a top priority to get rid of leakers inside the federal government. He even pegged it as "the big story" when it comes to the involvement of Russia in the 2016 election. Though going after leakers is one of the top goals of the Trump administration, Winner is the first to face charges with regards to leaking classified information. This could be the first of many and a signal the federal government is attacking these types of situations.
Winner had been working for Pluribus since February. According to reports, she admitted to government on Saturday that she printed off the report, took it to her office, then mailed it to the news outlet in August. Also, according to the report, Winner alegedly, "Winner also allegedly “acknowledged that she was aware of the contents of the intelligence reporting and that she knew the contents of the reporting could be used to the injury of the United States and to the advantage of a foreign nation,” according to the FBI affidavit.
It looks like the Trump administration is taking action and plugging the leaks. This is a start and hopefully a sign of things to come from the Trump team.
