On Friday ABC News reported that former national security advisor Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to FBI investigators. More on #FakeNews - ABC Edition.
Additional to that, ABC News also claimed that Flynn promised "full cooperation to the Mueller team" and that he is set to testify that then-candidate Donald Trump "directed him to make contact with the Russians."
There is one issue with this #FakeNews report from CNN: CNN reported late on Friday that an "ABC News spokesperson" said that "'World News' will clarify that this should be president-elect Trump, not candidate Trump."

This is a major difference. If it was president-elect Trump that instructed Flynn to contact the Russian ambassador, then that is very different from candidate Trump doing this. This changes the whole timeline and it is no longer possible that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to sway the 2016 presidential election. If Trump contacted the Russian ambassador as part of his preparing to take office there is absolutely nothing illegal about that.
It is starting to look more and more like this is just another big nothing burger from the mainstream media. We will continue to follow the story closely and keep you updated with any details.
