A student released on Monday revealed Democrats most likely to unfriend people due to political posts. Almost three times more likely!

Specifically, they are almost three times more likely to have "blocked, unfriended, or stopped following someone on social media" after the victory of President-elect Donald Trump.

The Public Religion Research Institute, which is non-partisan, conducted this study. They found that 24% of Democrats distanced themselves from someone as a result of a political posting. 9% of Republican and Independents reported doing the same thing.

Additionally, 28% of Democrats removed friends from Facebook because of something political. 8% of the Conservatives reported the same thing. Moderates reported removing a friend from Facebook due to a political post 11% of the time.
