Well, well, well. The World Health Organization has now did a complete turn around from what they've advocated for previously.
Dr. David Nabarro, who is the WHO’s social envoy on COVID-19 said, “We really do appeal to all world leaders: stop using lockdown as your primary control method.”

This is huge! We have the Democrats sitting here still calling for lockdowns because everyone is still scared. Even Joe Biden has threatened to put the country back under lockdown if elected.
The lockdowns must really be starting to negatively affect the uber elite and rich for the WHO to come out against them.
“We in the World Health Organisation do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Dr. Nabarro said.
“The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganize, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”
Nabarro said tight restrictions cause significant harm, particularly on the global economy.
“Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never, ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.
He added that lockdowns have severely impacted countries that rely on tourism.
“Just look at what’s happened to the tourism industry in the Caribbean, for example, or in the Pacific because people aren’t taking their holidays,” Nabarro told the outlet.
“Look what’s happened to smallholder farmers all over the world. … Look what’s happening to poverty levels. It seems that we may well have a doubling of world poverty by next year. We may well have at least a doubling of child malnutrition.”
The announcement from the World Health Organization comes after 12,000 of the world’s top experts signed the Great Barrington Declaration which is calling for an end to lockdowns and a return to normal life for those not at risk.
Finally, the world is coming together against all of the tyranny that we have allowed. But no more.
