News broke on Saturday that creepy Chris Matthews forced NBC to make a payment when a staffer complained about sexual harassment.
In 1999 Matthews reportedly paid $40,000 to settle with an assistant producer on his show, "Hardball with Chris Matthews," after she accused him of harassment.
Now another story surfaces. In May 2016 during a Trump campaign event, Chris Matthews was caught ogling at Melania Trump.
Per Politico:
MSNBC host Chris Matthews was caught gushing over Melania Trump’s physical appearance while still wearing his microphone.
“Did you see her walk? Runway walk. My God is that good,” Matthews said of Donald Trump’s wife during the network’s live coverage of Indiana’s primary on Tuesday night.
“I could watch that runway show,” he added, seemingly unaware that he was being recorded.
Following the “Hardball” host’s comments, co-anchor Brian Williams quickly moved to a commercial.
Mathews has been critical of the Manhattan billionaire’s stances on women’s issues, including his remark — which was swiftly retracted — that women who have abortions should be punished.
