What a disgusting, vile and evil act. Also one of the most racist things I've ever seen. Also it's incredible racist. A college football player raped a woman to pay her back for '400 years of slavery.'
No you did not read that wrong. This college football player actually tried to justify raping someone.
Per the Tennessean:
“Mr. Batey continued to abuse and degrade me, urinating on my face while uttering horrific racial hate speech that suggested I deserved what he was doing to me because of the color of my skin. He didn’t even know who I was.”
In prior court hearings, prosecutors have acknowledged a racial statement was made but it was never said publicly in court.
On Friday, multiple sources confirmed to The Tennessean the statement Batey made. “That’s for 400 years of slavery you b—-,” Batey said, according to the sources.
Cory Batey was sentenced to 15 years in prison. The judge described the situation as "one of the saddest cases I have ever encountered." When someone commits an act like this, they should consider themselves fortunate to go to prison. They deserve something far, far worse. I'll let you decide where that is.
This football player raped and urinated on a woman to pay her back for "400 years of slavery." Remember, he was never a slave. Nor were any of his living relatives. The woman who was raped and urinated on also never was a slave. She did nothing to deserve this. Not that you can ever justify rape. There is never, ever any type of justification for rape.
The sickest thing, though, is that he was justified to rape this one due to something he hasn't even experienced. He thought he could get off the hook because of the slavery he is very, very angry about, but never experienced.
Something else to ponder: Since this fool was never a slave himself and the victim never owned slaves, how did he become so consumed with the idea of slavery? If you have never experienced anything or known anyone that has, how do you become so fired up about it?
He was perhaps raised to hate white people. He has read up on how awful white people owned black slaves. Then, one day, he snapped and said someone is going to pay for this. He then decided to rape someone.
How does someone justify this type of thinking. There will never, ever be an instance where rape is not wrong. You don't justify it by blaming it on something that happens hundreds of years ago. Just for an idea of how disgusting of an act this was, here is more from the Tennessean:
“Something permanent snapped that day,” the woman said of seeing the pictures. “I felt myself detach from my body. Now, I feel like I’m walking around in the shell of someone else. A part of me went numb, a sense of being a whole person with hopes and dreams about what’s possible in the world was now gone. I felt my belief that people are inherently good twist into some cruel joke in an instant.
“But sexual assault was not where the attack ended,” she said. Her sobs intensified as the described what else the men did to her.

Corey Batey is a sick man and deserves any punishment that happens as a result of his crimes. This is completely disgusting and he must be held accountable for his disgusting actions.
