Last week, we learned that CNN news anchor Christ Cuomo who is also the brother of Andrew Cuomo who is Governor of New York, tested positive for the coronavirus.

Cuomo had been around a number of people who eventually tested positive for the virus themselves.

Let me first say this: I do not like Chris Cuomo at all. I think he's arrogant, I think he's a Pinocchio, I think he's a hot-head, and I think he's a jerk. With that said, I do not wish this illness upon him. I think it's wrong to wish ill on other people even if they're jerks, and I do wish him a quick recovery.

He has remained in his basement in an effort to self-quarantine and has even continued doing his show by filming in the basement.

Cuomo described some of his symptoms and as much as I hate to say it, I really do wonder if he really is positive with the virus. However, I'm going to do the charitable thing and take him at his word, but I am suspicious.

Here's how he described his experience thus far:

“The night I had last night, I’ve never had anything like it, I've never experienced any kind of fever like what I have going on all the time. And the body aches and the tremors and the concern about not being able to do anything about it, I totally get why so many are so scared all over this country.”

Describing the symptoms, Cuomo said it felt like “someone was beating me like a piñata.” The CNN host said he was shivering so much that he chipped a tooth and had vivid hallucinations.

“My dad was talking to me,” he said, referring to the late New York Gov. Mario Cuomo, who died in 2015. “I was seeing people from college, people I haven't seen in forever. It was freaky what I lived through last night.”

Cuomo said his doctor said he may experience nights like that up to eight more times.

“I get it now, and if you match that with chest constriction and people can't breathe, I totally get it, why we’re losing so many people and why our hospitals are so crowded,” he said.
