Conservative radio host Steve Deace was so angry he walked off the set of an HLN segment. Why? Because a CNN commentator compares Christianity to Sharia law.

Dean Obeidallah is the CNN contributor who compared Christianity to Sharia Law. This happened during a segment where they were discussing the upcoming Supreme Court nomination of President Donald Trump. The panelists were discussing what type of long-term impact the choice will have.

"The stakes are really high in this country,” Obeidallah said. “And there are people who want to impose Christian Sharia law in this country. And what I mean by that is that they want the Bible as the law of the land."

Deace fired back and called any comparison between Islamic Sharia Law and Christianity "preposterous." The progressive Obeidallah kept hammering back with the comparison.

"Christian Sharia law in this context is simply shorthand for turning religious beliefs into the laws of the land," Obeidallah kept pushing. "I’m not going through the Bible. To me, that’s what Sharia is in the Muslim world, what Sharia is here. I’m not sure why you’d be upset unless you’re advocating it. I’m not suggesting you are."

At this point Deace got out of his seat and left the set.
