John Brennan, director of the CIA, states the bombings in Turkey show signs that they were related to ISIS and the U.S. should have their eyes open.
“I’d be surprised if [ISIS] is not trying to carry out that kind of attack in the United States,” Brennan told Yahoo News Tuesday evening.
No group has taken credit for the attacks yet, but Brennan said the method and style of the attack fits ISIS.
Three suicide attackers that were wearing explosive vests fired many rounds and then blew themselves up in a parking lot that was nearby. 41 were found dead and 239 more were wounded.
Just two weeks ago Brennan pointed out that ISIS is gearing up for another attack on the West.
