California is a completely failed state. Democratic control for so long has destroyed the California economy and her people.
But Governor Gavin Newsom seems to think that he's doing a really great job out there and doesn't appreciate it when President Trump attacks him for his failings.
That's why Newsom made an attempt to attack President Trump over the homeless problem his state is facing after the President's tweet.
Newsom attempted to counter a tweet from President Trump attacking both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Gov. Newsom.
The President tweeted, “Nancy Pelosi’s District in California has rapidly become one of the worst anywhere in the U.S. when it come to the homeless & crime. It has gotten so bad, so fast – she has lost total control and, along with her equally incompetent governor, Gavin Newsom, it is a very sad sight!”

The governor, rather than addressing what was actually said, decided he would just try and insult the President, “I imagine Trump’s Christmas to be like that scene when the Grinch yells “I’m an idiot!” and his echo yells back “you’re an idiot!!”

Then as a weak attempt to show everyone that homelessness wasn't that bad, he decided to tweet out some information on how he has fought homelessness in his state...but it didn't turn out so well for the Governor.
Earlier this month, @GavinNewsom launched half a billion dollars in emergency homelessness aid in the face of roadblocks from the Trump Admin.https://t.co/QfPqxcSE7g

Newsom tried to redirect the public's attention from his gross mismanagement, but the internet knows no mercy and they let him have it.
They reminded that before Trump came along, he was a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors from 1997-2004 and it was during that time that Newsom put in place the policies that have destroyed San Francisco.
Mike Shellenberger shared a statistic, "Over the last decade, the number of homeless in America declined 10%; in California, it grew 22%. And yet “resistance to dealing with it remains endemic among ruling Democrats & in nominally progressive cities”

I imagine Newsom’s Christmas to be like that scene when the Grinch yells “Thanks for the Go Cart Aunt Nancy” as he giddily zooms by 125,000 homeless human beings.
Oh wait... That's not the Grinch...
It is real life in Gavin Newsom's California. pic.twitter.com/MVhk1ff0gD

Imagine failing your state so bad the President has to invoke federal emergency powers ...
