Jerry Brown has challenged Trump on every issue imaginable. Now, the California Governor asks Trump for help due to the damage done by recent storms.
Brown has recently challenged Trump on climate change, immigration, Obamacare, along with many other issues.
Many Democrat officials in California have been very open about their refusal to follow Trump's orders with regards to illegal immigration. San Francisco's police chief, mayor and police chief all made it clear they would not enforce Trump's immigration order. They made this stance known well before Trump's order was taken to court.
California Governor Asks Trump for Help
Despite all of this, California Governor Jerry Brown is asking for some federal funds to help in the short term. As a result, he is reaching out to the Trump administration for help. For a while there, it was difficult to tell if California was recognizing Donald Trump as the President of the United States. Until they needed a helping hand, now it's very clear.
