Buddhist Monk Ashin Wirathu believes that all races and religions could coexist and live in peace, if not for muslims.

He says, "If every race and religion will become friends, genuine friends, there is no reason we can't live together peacefully," adding that it was not up to his people to live peacefully though, "It depends on the Muslims."

Wirathu continued to speak about how violent the Muslims are and how they are slaughtering people and trying to implement Islam. Without them, he says, "we can live in peace."

Frontline News reports:

In Myanmar, Muslims are killing Buddhists and trying to destroy Buddhism in order to create an Islamic State.

Branded the “Face of Buddhist Terror” by Time magazine, Wirathu has his own compound within the Masoeyein monastery in Mandalay. Before being offered a comfortable chair, visitors are greeted by a wall of bloody and gruesome photographs.

The pictures show machete-inflicted head wounds and severed limbs, disfigured faces and slashed bodies; Wirathu claims, without the slightest evidence, that the images are of Buddhists who were attacked by Muslims.

Of all the religions I have seen or encountered, I can't say that I disagree with the monk. Islam is by far the most violent, gruesome religion out there. They do not want to be peaceful or coexist. Their holy Quran quite literally tells them to go out and murder people who do not convert to Islam.
