During President Joe Biden's first ten days in office he has had time to sign 42 executive orders that ranged from climate change to trangender rights. Despite that he has failed to live up to a huge campaign promise he made.
President Joe Biden promised to deliver $2,000 to Americans for relief from the pandemic. Well, ten days in he has failed to deliver on that promise.
While in Atlanta, Biden promised “that money will go out the door immediately to help people who are in real trouble.”
Americans are not happy with the delay and as a result #BidenLied was trending on Twitter.
The Democrats Twitter account made an announcement that $1,400 will be sent to Americans, which is in addition to the $600 that was sent out last year.
$1,400 is all well and good, but that wasn't the promise Biden made. He promised $2,000.
“$600 is simply not enough when you have to choose between paying rent or putting food on the table. We need $2,000 stimulus checks.”

Many people took to Twitter to express their anger.
#BidenLied and the whole government lied. Don't say your given us $2000 checks when your really given us $1400 checks. That's just cold, bruh.

Monday afternoon President Biden called out for Congress to get the relief plan moving.
Hardworking Americans need help and they need it now. That’s why I’m calling on Congress to immediately pass my American Rescue Plan that will deliver direct relief, extend unemployment insurance, help folks put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads, and more.

Don't hold your breath. In nearly 50 years working for the government, Joe Biden has never been known as someone who gets things done.
