My eyes almost got stuck in the back of my head after how hard I just rolled them. Beto O'Rourke, hopeful 2020 presidential candidate, is pulling out all the stops, and attempting to scare his extremely small band of followers.
While appearing on NBC’s “Meet the Press" on Sunday, he said that if Donald Trump wins another election, then“we’ll lose America.”
“There is a concerted, organized attack against immigrants, against people of color, against those who do not look like or pray like or love like the majority in this country. And this moment will define us one way or another." O’Rourke continued, "And if we do not wake up to it, I am convinced that we’ll lose America, this country, in our sleep. And we cannot allow that to happen.”
“Yes, Democrats have to address those issues and deliver on those issues, but we also have to call out the existential threat," he added, "to use the word you just employed, that Donald Trump represents right now. Not only are we going to lose more live, I’m confident that we will lose this country and our democracy the longer he says in office. So that is the urgency behind what I’m talking about.”
Oh for the love of Pete, give it a rest! Democrats hate the fact that they cannot control Trump and therefore say anything they can to make him look bad. They don't realize we see right through their sad rhetoric.
I don't know about you, but I will be voting Trump 2020!
