This went down in Chicago. A great case for why gun control doesn't work. An armed thug attempts to carjack except this guy was packing heat. Here's how it went down, per the Daily Mail:

A motorist pulled out a gun when Ronald Morales, 43, approached his car at a gas station in Elmwood Park, Illinois.

The men shot at each other multiple times in broad daylight before Morales ran away and the driver sped off.

Morales eventually died from his injuries – but police say they won’t be charging the man who killed him because he was acting in self defense.

This was on April 8th at 4:52 pm. That should give you an idea of what it's like in Chicago. This kind of stuff happens in the middle of the day. While pumping gas, the driver made eye contact with Morales.

Morales stormed up to the car and pulled a gun out while opening the passenger door. By this time, the driver was already back in the car. Morales quickly closed the door and tried to communicate with the driver with the door closed through the window.

At this point there was no ironing things out. The driver had pulled out his gun and was ready to exchange fire. The two fired bullets back and forth at each other.

Morales, being the punk he is, tried to to take off running, but he had already been hit with bullets. He eventually died from his wounds. Best of all, it has been determined by the police that the driver was acting in self-defense. He is not being charged. Watch the video.
