With all the impeachment stuff going on lately, it seems that we don't get to hear enough about the stupid things that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez does lately, but it's surely not from a lack of trying.
Anytime she opens her mouth something stupid comes flying out. This time a tweet went viral making her look like a buffoon.
AOC tried mocking a tweet from a Representative from Kentucky in which he was stood next to a cardboard cutout of AOC.
The photo was posted by Republican Party of Kentucky, but the Congressman was Representative John Yarmuth, a Democrat, who happens to be the Democratic chairman of the House Budget committee. This is someone that Ocasio-Cortez should know within her party.
Here's the tweet.
#ThrowbackThursday last month the socialists threatened the lone #Kentucky #Democrat in Congress if he didn't bend to their radical, extremist will: https://t.co/MdS3un7IIY looks like @AOC and #socialism are calling the shots for @KyDems now! pic.twitter.com/VIe6JWZZQy

AOC decided to shoot first and ask questions later. If she would have taken 10 seconds to actually look at the photo or the text in the tweet, she would have known that he is a Democrat. But that's not her style, so instead she said this:
GOP: Let's pose our older male members next to cardboard cutouts of young female legislators"

Of course, she deleted the tweet after realizing how stupid she is, but that didn't stop the internet. People know better and they made sure to save a screenshot of the tweet and made sure to criticize her blunder.
Here are a few tweets from Twitter users to AOC's effortless response.
Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) thinks Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) is a Republican member of Congress. It literally says in the tweet that she is quoting that Yarmuth is a Democrat. AOC doesn't even know who her Democrat colleagues in Congress are, how embarrassing. - Ryan Saavedra

In this tweet, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shows she has no idea who John Yarmuth even is. He's a Kentucky Democrat who just happens to be the Chair of the House Budget Committee. Major yikes. - Caleb Hull
